Our Therapists


Kerry Raymond, MS, OTR/L, CHT
Kerry earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT. She then went on to obtain her Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire. Kerry has over 17 years of experience as an occupational therapist and has been a Certified Hand Therapist for 10 years. She is a Matheson trained therapist in the area of Functional Capacity Evaluations.
Kerry remains active in her community coaching youth lacrosse.
 


John Moran, OTR/L
John obtained his Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1997 from the University of New England in Biddeford, ME. He began his career within the outpatient orthopedic hand clinic and Work Well program at Southern Maine Medical Center. While there he provided upper extremity evaluations and treatment of injured workers throughout southern Maine. He also provided ergonomic training to medium and large sized businesses to help ensure their compliance with State standards in the use of VDT’s, (Video Display Terminals). Workers referred to John had sustained injuries ranging from carpal tunnel syndrome to crush injuries, and amputations. He is a Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator through the J Tech Medical Program and is both a Work Well and Matheson trained therapist in the field of industrial rehab. His advanced training includes job site task analysis, post job offer lift testing, and work conditioning. John has over 13 years experience in hand and upper extremity therapy, while responding to the needs of patients. His close collaboration with providers, nurse case managers and business throughout the region has led to many successful outcomes for both the injured worker and the employer.
 


Heather Moran, MS, OTR/L, CHT
Heather graduated from the University of New England in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. She went on to continue her education at the University of Southern Maine where she earned her master’s in occupational therapy in 1998. Heather is SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing) certified and has over 10 years experience in many areas of pediatric practice. She has had the opportunity to gain such experience in the areas of feeding, early intervention, school-based therapy, and sensory integration theory and treatment.
